Control Hub

tambient's new Control Hub helps today's lighting designers and architects meet new energy mandates without compromising worker productivity. The tambient Control Hub is a programmable lighting control device that uses external daylight and motion sensors to automatically adjust luminance levels in response to changes in natural daylight. It also shuts down lights when occupants walk away from their stations and can be manually adjusted to dim if needed. Placing these control hubs in areas where daylight can be utilized drastically reduces power consumption.

The Control Hub is installed in an office for an engineering firm, Glumac, in California and the system is allowing the company to beat Title-24 lighting requirements from 44 to 70 percent by providing as little as .29 watts per square foot.
